Anyway, long story short, If I enable multi GPU in the nvidia control panel, BC2 crashes within a few minutes to a few seconds with an annoying flickering display that flashes between the game and a completely white screen. Its extremely difficult to alt tab/task kill out of.

All my other games work fine under multi gpu. It is only BC2 that has a problem with it. When I disable multi gpu, BC2 runs fine.

Any ideas? If you have a multi core CPU it provides, in some cases a huge performance kick. In HL 2 I went from 200 average to 290+ average at almost all times. EP1 went from 170 to 200-250 in most cases. Some times faster. Ep2 went from 100 to 130-150. Not bad really. Those are the only ones I've tested on. My G19 was showing 50-100% on one core and now shows 30-80% on all four as the game plays.

This will allow you to have two talk keys.
-One for "Public" that everyone no matter what sub-channel they are in can hear. (the instructions below)
-One only your sub-channel, or "Team," can hear. This is just your current hotkey setup you have been using.

These instructions are very easy. The amount of steps are only because I made the instructions as detailed as possible. You can have this all set up for every channel in vent in under 2 min.

1. Open the Ventrilo client.
2. Click the arrow button to the right of the "Bindings" box at the top of the "Ventrilo" window.
3. Create a new key binding by clicking "New" in the "Setup Bindings" window.
4. Name your key binding by typing a name into the "Name" box in the "Create New Bindings" window and clicking "OK." The name isn't important and only exists to help you remember what the binding does. I would use the channel name if e use these for multiple channels later on..
5. Click the "Add" button at the bottom-left corner of the "Setup Bindings" window.
6. Click the "PTT Advanced" radio button in the "Edit Hotkey/Function" window.
7. Configure the key binding by clicking the "Hotkey" box at the bottom of the "Edit Hotkey/Function" window and pressing the desired hot key.
8. Click "OK" at the bottom of the "Edit Hotkey/Function" window.
9. Click the "Channel and all Sub-Channels" radio button in the "Edit PTT Advanced" window that appears.
10. Select the channel the hot key whispers into by clicking the box to the right of "Channel Name(s)" in the "Edit PTT Advanced" window, clicking a channel in the *"Available" list in the "Select from a List of channels" window, clicking "Add" and clicking "OK."
NOTE: Make sure you select the top most channel e.g. "Beer and Bullets." Do NOT select the sub channel like "Beer and Bullets/Allies", that would defeat the entire purpose of this. I am defaulting to the "Beer and Bullets channel" but we can add a binding for each server/channel we want to use.
11. Click "OK" at the bottom of the "Edit PTT Advanced" window.
12. Click "OK" in the "Setup Bindings" window.
13. You can now use this "public" key to talk into all the sub channels in the selected server channels by pressing and holding your configured hot key. This allows this key to basically talk to all, just like we always have, but across all the sub channels. You keep your normal Ventrillo key you always used under setup. This will now be used as the "team" key that only your team will hear just as it always has. So basically nothing will change with this setup, even in a channel you did not set up. When you are in a channel you just talk in that channel. Nifty huh? :)

If you want to set this up for other channels you can simply repeat from steps 2-13 or even easier use the Clone option next to the bind name.
Clone a new binding by clicking "Clone" in the "Setup Bindings" window, then edit the channel names etc... that you want to change.

You may also want to go to your setup button, select the Binds tab and select "Auto activate last used bindings"

I have ready both the reviews for these cards and I am leaning more towards the PNY card. They both have the new GF104 GPU chip and both have 1GB DDR5 memory. And the specs seem to be about the same. They are $250 at Newegg which is about what I want to spend. Probably be another month before i purchase but some insight from the more knowledgeable guys here would be helpful.

The forums simply do not remember me being logged in. I have nothing blocking it, all cookies are allowed and this happens on multiple computers.

Example.. I log into the forums, get the new posts. So I open each post in a new tab to view them. When I go to quick reply it gives me errors:

"Your submission could not be processed because you have logged in since the previous page was loaded.

Please reload the window."

I am logged in. I try re-loading the page and sometimes it works, other times not.

I just seem to have to go through hoops to get it to recognize I am logged in, sometimes having to log totally off and back on. This has been going on pretty much since the beginning.

I seem to have to re-log in continuously to do anything. It does this on multiple computers as I said so it is not a specific browser issue. I usually use FF if that helps.

When i had lastpass set to auto log in it kept doing it on every page. Over and over. So I turned that off.
the point of this is something in the forums keeps thinking I logged off even though I see "Welcome, Paladin" along the top,


Something is weird here... It is very very annoying.... ideas???
